MIB Importer Values not being used

Votes:

0

I have imported a MIB and am extracted a single OID that I intend to use as an SNMP Library Sensor.

I have tweaked the Unit to a value of "Minutes" and Changed the Scale to divide by 6000. Neither the Unit or Scale are being used in the sensor for some reason. The sensor does grab the value, just not using the units I defined or the division.

This is for a UPS system which is displaying the battery runtime remaining in hundredths of a second. Therefore need to convert it to minutes.

I have deleted and re-added it many times. I am also deploying on the server itself by choosing "Save for PRTG Network Monitor" I have also restarted the core sever.

Hi there,

What version of PRTG are you currently using as we had a bug in the older versions which affected scaling and custom units in the SNMP Library Sensor?

Best regards.

Hi there,

Could you check the channel settings if the scaling is correctly set there?

Best regards.

There is nothing specific in channel settings regarding scaling at all.

Please contact us under [email protected] by referring to this ticket. Please also attach the used OIDlib and a Walk against the device with the OIDlib by using our SNMP-Tester:
