A location intends to have a few planned power outages this weekend. Is there a way to schedule multiple maintenance windows? It would be a real pain if I need to keep creating new maint windows each time the power drops Sun AM. Thanks fro the help.

Hello,
Thank you for the KB-Post. Kindly check out the PRTG Scheduler, as it allows to configure multiple maintenance windows for single objects. Please also review the Installation Guide as well as the FAQ for the tool.
best regards.

Could it be done thru the http API? Is there documentation regarding this?

Sorry, setting maintenance windows is not possible via API calls.

What about acknowledge windows? I thought this was the purpose/intention of having the API?

Update? It appears to be the same. It can't do maintenance windows, but can it do acknowledgments and pauses?

Well you actuall can configure multiple maintenance windows, but you need an additional tool for it to make it comfortable. Kindly check out the PRTG Scheduler, as it allows to configure multiple maintenance windows for single objects. Please also review the Installation Guide as well as the FAQ for the tool.
Unfortunately, it only does maintenance windows and no acknowledgements.

That looks like exactly what I need. The link to the installation guide gives a 404. Does this tool integrate itself right into the PRTG menus?
I am curious about the http API. Is there documentation for learning this? I would like to start learning this and testing some simple website integration stuff.

Sorry, the correct link is https://github.com/PRTG/PRTGScheduler/wiki/1.-Installation - it got stripped somehow :) The API is documented under Setup (Don't click it) | API.

Is there any documentation for getting acquainted with the http api? Preferably something that starts easy?

Hi!
Sure, please navigate to "Setup | PRTG API" in your PRTG web client. For a good starting point you will find an explanation on how to use it for each tab.
Kind regards
