Setting a threshhold trigger to activate after 32 days

Votes:

Hi,

As the subject describes, I would like to set a threshhold trigger to activate after 32 days, specifically an SNMP System uptime alert to email me if a certain system has been up for more than 32 days.

The PRTG console only gives me the option of setting a measurement cycle in seconds, which is fine, if it accepted a value integer of more than six digits (ie 60 sec * 60 min * 24 hrs * 32 days = 2764800 secs, seven digits). Can anyone assist with this query? Is there a better way to accomplish my task?

Kind Regards,

A (very) new PRTG user

Hi there,

On my end I have no problem entering a value consisting of 7 digits with the current PRTG version. However, I would not recommend using a threshold trigger on "Notifications" tab for this, but click on the channel showing the measured uptime, enable limits there and enter 2764800 into "Upper Error Limit". On tab "Notifications" you can use then a state trigger.

Kind regards,

Erhard
