Read-only user viewing tickets



Is it possible to setup a user account in such a way that the user only has read access to a group to things like sensors, but can still make and view tickets related to the group? Is it also possible to setup the ticket system that an administrator group can view all tickets and that other users can only see tickets related to their group?

Hello Freek,

Read-Only user accounts cannot access PRTG's ticket system, this will require at least Write access rights. If you only want to view particular tickets to particular users, you need to create a new user group with Write access and restrict the access via the settings page of the Group / Device > Access Rights menu via the PRTG web interface.

Administrative Users are always able to see every ticket, setting and device in PRTG.
