Install PRTG w/ zero sensors to start with

Have an existing monitoring system in place for our VMware infrastructure already.

I would like to install PRTG as a blank canvas, and to add sensors for our switches, routers, and internet connection to our ISP only. When I ran the install, PRTG added hundreds upon hundreds of sensors automatically. Would like to avoid that as I am not interested in the other sensors at this time.

Hi Josh,

One option would be to just delete all created sensors and devices.

Another option would be to start the installation with an additional parameter which will prevent the initial auto-discovery.

Please find additional information here, just search for "/NoInitialAutoDisco=1":

Command Line Parameters and Exit Codes for Paessler Setups

I ended up starting over with a new command line install, and used the parameter /NoInitialAutoDisco=1 just as you recommended.

Really appreciate your help!
