Move remote probe of an existing Core to another existing Core

Votes:

Hi, I found a lot of the same documents in moving remote probes. I could not really find my answer though and I think because it's not possible.

I have two completely different existing core servers. I want to move a remote probe from core A to core B with all of the devices/sensor/etc moved over. (I do not need the historical data)

Is this possible?

Hi there,

Your assumption is correct I'm afraid, that won't work. All configuration data is only stored centrally on the PRTG server and it's not possible to somehow extract the configuration for a particular probe and its sensordata and move it to another one.

Kind regards,

Erhard
