Searching tags from the web interface/aliases for devices?

Hey guys, i was just wondering if there is anyway to find devices by tag from the search function of PRTG. We have a customer group who would like their routers named after their work sites however it is important to us that we can search by hostname. Can i put this in the tags and then be able to search? alternatively is an internal engineer alias option a possibility at all ?

Hey Sam,

Searching for the hostname will return the corresponding device, yes. Searching for the corresponding tag will also show the tagged objects. Not sure what you mean by internal engineer alias? A tag invisible to a certain account?
