How do I monitor a Dell MD3000i SAN with PRTG?

I would like to monitor both network traffic on this SAN as well as free space of each array. How would I accomplish this?

From what I can tell from the device documentation, the MD3000i array does support SNMP but it doesn't really provide much relevant monitoring information. You could theoretically use SMCli but this would require you to write your own custom sensor.

In order to monitor the traffic you could opt for a Packet Sniffer sensor and provide the necessary filters (see What filter rules can be used for custom Packet Sniffing or flow (NetFlow/sFlow) sensors?.
