Probe out of memory

Hallo Paessler Team.

bei einer unserer Remote Probes, haben wir festgestellt, dass die 4 GB Ram zuwenig sind. Den RAM des virtuellen Remote Probe Systems haben wir auf 8GB erhöht.

leider Crashed der Service nach wie vor in regeläßigen Abständen mit den untenstehenden Logs. Rahmenparameter sind ein Win1k12 r2 Standard 64Bit 2x XEON E5-2690 v3, je 2,6GHz 8GB RAM (vorher 4GB RAM) PRTG Version aktuelle 18.2.40.16*

im Taskmanager des Dienstes war ersichtlich, dass die Probe nur 3,7GB RAM nutzt und dabei gecrashed ist. ich vermute nun, dass diese als 32Bit Anwendung läuft.

wie bewege ich die Probe dazu den gesamten Verfügbaren RAM zu nutzen.

Die Probe ist nur ein 32bit-Prozess, wird also nie mehr als 4GB RAM benutzen könnn. Bitte einmal Syslog-Sensoren pausieren (falls vorhanden) und prüfen, ob das Problem bestehen bleibt. Falls ja, in den Optionen im Root des Gerätebaumes die Systeminformationen im Bereich Erweiterte Analyse des Netzwerks deaktivieren.

Lassen Sie mich wissen, welcher der beiden Schritte geholfen hat.

Hello,

danke erstmal für den Hinweis. wird das denn Zielführend auf 64Bit mal umgestellt?

Syslog Sensoren sind auf der Probe nicht vorhanden. und die Systeminformation habe ich mal deaktiviert.

Da es aktuell nicht notwendig ist, wird es auf absehbare Zeit keine 64Bit-Variante der Probe geben.
