http sensor understending

Hi, I have a remote probe monitoring a dc. I want to monitor a webserver with a GET request, and the HTTP sensor does what I'm looking for. My question is related to whom add the sensor: - the remote probe - the device (i.e. webserver)

I tried both and I have different results. Is the request performed by the sensor parent device or always by the probe?

thank you

configuration http-get http-sensor

Dear rigabb,

you can add the sensor on any probe which can connect to the web server. The request is done by the probe which operates the sensor, not by the parent device.
