Report Email Notification

Good afternoon,

I am in the process of changing the default reports to something that works more for our clients. We are attempting to change the email notification for the report delivery. We've modified the mailtemplates\mailreport.htm and mailtemplates\sendfromserver.htm. Test the changes produced emails that were the same as the stock ones. Is there is specific process that needs to be used in the modification process? It seems straightforward...

Hi there,

Altering the "mailtemplates\mailreport.htm" file is correct. I just tested this on my side by adding a new table row and table data :

            <tr>
            	<td>Test</td>
            </tr>

This added a new line with the content "Test!" to the mail. Please note that this mail is only sent out when a report is sent out as PDF. This is not the "New Ticket - Report Finished" mail.
