Sensor alarms based on value in time period.

Hi.

I am monitoring packets dropped on switch port. I would like set alarm for this sensor based on count of dropped packets value in some time period. For example if dropped packets counter is 100 during one hour it is not error - it is normal state. But if dropped packets counter is 100 in one minute it is error and I should be notified by PRTG. Is it possibe to configure this notification?

Hi Sebastian,

I am afraid to tell you that it's not possible to specify a time based limit. What you can do however, is to create a Notification which waits for x amount of seconds before an email is sent out.

Would that be an option, too?
