I wrote up a nice detailed explaination for this to have "Something gone wrong".

I'm not typing it all up again? Can I create a map template, when i create a new map and have map objects already on the designer so I can simply grab my server objects or sensor data and drag them into the existing map templates map objects?

Hello there,

Thanks for your inquiry, we appreciate your contact regarding this matter!

It's not possible to create template, but you can clone an existing map and pull in new objects in the Map Designer to use it like a template.
