Can PRTG send SNMP trap notifications on receipt of a syslog message?

I like to use PRTG to send an SNMP trap message when receiving a specific syslog message, is this possible.

Hey Sihoko,

Yes you can do this. First you need to define filter rules in the Syslog sensor for Error and/or Warning state.

Then you need to create a new notification under Setup >> Account Settings >> Notifications

Once you have done this, you need to add a trigger to the sensor which triggers a notification which will send out the Trap message.
