Watchguard Firebox M300

Hi

We have a WatchGuard Firebox M300 which we wish to monitor via PRTG. We've followed this setup guide https://p.widencdn.net/in4vq3/PRTG-RMM-Integration-Guide.

I'm new to PRTG and could do with a little help with two sensors not working

One sensor is for Firebox Device name which reports FireboxM300 is not a valid integer value One sensor is for Firebox Device version which reports sysa:11.11.4.B514824> <sysb:11.9.6B475461>' is not a valid integer value

Could anybody help with these two problems?

Cheers

Hello there,

Thanks for your inquiry, we appreciate your contact regarding this matter!

The Sensor you are using here is a SNMP Custom Sensor that expects a single numerical value (int64) for a given OID as result. The results "FireboxM300" and "sysb:11.9.6B475461" are no integer, so the error message is displayed in PRTG.

In order to check a string you can use our SNMP Custom String Sensor which displays these results correctly.

For any further questions or issues, we're glad to help.

Kind regards,
