I have a Dell R630 server running with ESXi and weeks before I received an error message in PRTG about a faulty RAM I deleted the LOG and reset iDrac. The RAM error was gone but I get this warning in PRTG now.

Can someone tell me what this warning message means and how to get rid of it?

thank you very much mandragora

Hello there,
thank you for your inquiry.

The first step if you get this error, is to log into vsphere and check the actual health status of your components, as pictured below: Screenshot

Please also refer to this Post from VMware:

Please let me know how this works out. Essentially, if everything is green, you shouldn't get any alert in PRTG. But if you have health components reporting as unknown, warning or error PRTG will pick these alerts up.

Best Regards,

Hi Luciano

I checked it and some sensors are shown as unknown. However, the host runs without problems and errors. I also saw that all my hosts in the cluster have exactly the same problem. I think I'm gonna have to figure out why the sensors are showing up as unknown.

Best Regards mandragora
