Factory sensor - disable individual sensor alert

Votes:

0

Hello community

I created a factory sensor that monitors the status of 2 individual PING sensors. The factory sensor seems to be working fine, but now I'd like to disable the 2 individual sensors' alert states when they're down. Only one PING sensor needs to be (and can be) up at a any time.

As we're using a dashboard for monitoring, the "down (acknowledged)" setting does not suffice, because the sensor will then still show up as down on the dashboard.

Thank you

alerts factory-sensor notifications

Hi Daan,

I'm afraid to tell you that the "Down (Acknowledged)" setting is the only one for changing an error state.

Depending on the setup of your dashboard, one option would be to move the PING sensors out of the group you're displaying, so the error does not show up any more.

Hi Andreas

I will move the sensors out of the scope of the dashboard then.

Thanks for your help.
