Rename channel not possible

Votes:

0

Hello,

I created a cisco system health sensor (temperature). Unfortunately the channel names are not very meaningful.

So I want to rename them. After renaming the first channel name, I'm not able to rename further channels of the same sensor. The name field is greyed out.

How can I rename all channel names?

channel-configuration cisco name

Dear Christian,

the channels of this sensor cannot be renamed, I am sorry. If for one time after creation renaming is allowed, that is a bug. The sensor determines the channel names by itself and uses that name to assign new channel data.

Only some channels have the ability to use arbitrary channel names. The Cisco System Health sensor is not one of them, I am sorry (as the name is extracted from the SNMP values.)
