Change Oracle Connect from TCP/IP to Oracle Client

Votes:

I have some problems to use the standard TCP/IP connection from PRTG (Oracle V2 Sensor) to access my Oracle Instances and Schemata. In the Usersguide there are a discription to use the local Oracle Client to connect the Instance, but i don´t find this option in the settings.

sqlplus is working from probe server (local Oracle client installation already done).

Thanks for support ;-)

client oracle sql

Well you could use the ADO SQL sensor instead, using the corresponding connection string. It should use the installed client. But what actual issues do you have with the v2 sensor, i.e. what error messages do you get?
