how can I set up a monitor to a HTTP site?

we host a web site which I need to monitor and ensure it is up at all times. Also is it possible to monitor who long it takes to load the web site and log on to it.

Dear Manni,

please use the HTTP Sensors of PRTG. The HTTP Transaction sensor is able to perform login actions if these are cookie-based (Session-IDs in URL or hidden form fields are not supported). Simple availability checks can be made with the normal HTTP (Advanced) sensor or a full loading can be done with the Full Web Page sensor.
