Hello, I have PRTG on -promise, installed on Win server, When the server is up and any sensor goes down I receive notification,

The issue is when the win server goes down itself we dont get any notification, Its kinda make sense but is there any connection between the probe and the PRTG network so when this happen PRTG get notified then send me notification?

or its only option in the Hosted version

The hosted version sure would help you - since I am certain it is monitored from the outside.

What you could do is a heartbeat - like every hour - and see this way that it is up.

Personally, we all use the Phone App and get alerts enough to see the system is online - we kinda ride right on the edge of that thin line of over-notification and being notified about the bare minimum.. it is a constant challenge...

Florians response is really good, and I'd like to add one more option to it, the PRTG Cluster. The Failover Node could notify you if the Master Node goes down.
