Hi Sara,

Are you certain there is no ongoing issue on your switch that might cause this status?

You further could check what SNMP is really reporting back by using a SNMP-Test tool - this might help explain what you see. Not sure though about the OID - SNMP ID - you would need to look for - but we might be able to figure it out together.

Paessler offers such a tool here: https://www.paessler.com/tools/snmptester

Hi there,

The following Column is is used to monitor the FAN-States:

1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3.index Fan State

So please run a "Walk" with the SNMP Tester against the OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.4.1.3 and post the results.

Best regards.

Hello John,

The result of the SNMP Tester looks fine. PRTG should display the sensor in status "UP" if the channel is referring to one of the listed fans.

For further troubleshooting I would invite you to open a ticket by sending a mail to [email protected].

Kind regards
