I need to urgently monitor the video card, how can I do this using prtg?

Dear Daniel,

PRTG has no build-in video card sensor, because for specific hardware parts there are usually no standard metrics. If the video card exposes those metrics somehow, you could in principle write your own sensor. However, many video cards have only complex access options, like using driver API calls (which can even change with new driver version.)

Even more standard components like mainboards are difficult to monitor. Some server manufacturers provide special SNMP agents, making those metrics available through SNMP. Video card parameters are not common, though.
