We connected Eaton UPS to PRTG and create several sensors, one of this senor has only black gauge with black zones, will this sensor change it state to Warning, Error, because no any yellow or red zones on gauge and no any limits? Or we need to create an alarm based on messeges?

Hi Vasiliy,

The black sections mean "unknown". In order to change this, please click on the gauge to enter the channel settings. Here you can find the name of the created lookup file. Now browse to the lookup directory and open the lookup (default directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\PRTG Network Monitor\lookups).

Here you can change the "unknown" value to "Ok", "Warning" or "Error". Please also take a look at this post for further information.

Remember to reload the lookup files after your changes. This can be done on the Setup > System Administration > Administrative Tools page of your PRTG installation.
