How can I change the Disk Free sensor message from % to GB?

Votes:

0

Dear Paessler,

The Disk Free sensor we're using outputs this alarm message: "7 % (Free Space D:) is below the error limit of 10 % in Free Space D:"

We want to let the Disk Free sensor output the alarm message like this: "7 GB (Free Space D:) is below the error limit of 10 GB in Free Space D:"

Is there a solution to this?

Thanks in advance,

Sickman

Hello Sickman,

You need to make sure to have limits configured inside those "Free Bytes" channels as well. In case you're using the "WMI Free Disk Multidisk" sensor, those limits can be configured globally for all "Free Space" and "Free Bytes" channels on tab "Settings", apart from this particular sensor, you can simply click on the channel for "Free Bytes" and enable there the limits as needed.

Kind regards,

Erhard
