We have a webbased CMDB and a customer of us uses PRTG to generate Graphs. We want to implement a Link to PRTG_Charts. From our side we can Provide the IP-Address of the Device and would like to navigate to Device-Based - Graphs. In the second step we can provide the IP-Address and the Interface-index (MIB2) to navigate to Interface-based-Graphs. We abble to define the URLs to PRTG, but we can´t find a solution which works.

Normally we launch Searchpages in the Target-Tool. The User is able to navigate to the right place without any deeper integration.

Example-URLs to searchpages: Search for a Interface http://prtg-server1/xxx/searchwebpage1.aspx?ipaddress=192.168.0.1&ifindex=4

Search for a device http://prtg-server1/xxx/searchwebpage1.aspx?ipaddress=192.168.0.1

How can we do something like this with PRTG?

Regards Erich

Dear Erich,

it is not possible to access objects (such as sensors or devices) in PRTG with their IP for example, it's only possible to use their object ID in PRTG. Please see if any of the following articles (or other) may help you:
