Auto Detect Not Picking up All Sensors

Votes:

0

Hi there,

I created a device template with 3 simple probes. Ping, Free Disk Space, Uptime.

I created a new auto-detect group and chose this template.

When it scanned, 2 of the machines had all the probes and 2 of the machines only had ping.

I can manually add these same probes to these machines that didnt detect just fine.

Any thoughts?

Jeremy,

Are these WMI or SNMP based sensors? If you look in C:\ProgramData\Paessler\PRTG Network Monitor\Logs\debug there should be a file called CoreAutoDiscovery.log. Open this file, and look for the entries for the two machines that did not automatically add the sensors. Are there any error messages?
