Exporting and Importing selected sensors.

what I am trying to go is remove several devices and sensors. I would like to see if there is a way to export the devices. At a later date we can import those devices back into PRTG. We are not migrating to a new server.

Dear luissgtz,

a PRTG migration can only be done in full. Partial sensor export/import is not available.

You can however re-create devices using device templates. This does not copy the existing sensor data, but it does apply the existing sensor configuration.

In order to create device objects in bulk, you can use auto-discovery groups (scroll down in that article to the chapter "Creating an Auto-Discovery Group") and use a list of hostnames or IPs (one address per line) to let PRTG search all those devices.
