Daily increment

I'd like to create a sensor, which displays the daily increment of a file (or database).

How can I accomplish this?

Factory Sensor?

Many thanks in advance for some advise.

The are file size and database size sensors/scripts.

Not sure if I fully understand your question - do you want to see something additional?
