Trigger a warning

I use PRTG to monitor signal levels (RSSI) on the wireless links. I have a custom sensor and I have custom triggers set up on each sensor that currently triggers and email when the signal falls too low (below threshold). I would like this also to change the state of the sensor to a Warning and then clear it if the signal comes back up. (ie a visual indicator on our monitoring board) How can I go about setting this up?

Hi Mike,

Click on the channel that shows the value, this opens the channel's settings where you can enable limits for warning and error status.

You can also trigger notifications then based on the status.

See also the Paessler website: How to set up notifications via the PRTG web interface.

Kind regards,

Erhard
