Balancing the monitoring load

Good night,

Today I am working with only 1 server with 15,000 sensors, I would like to know the best way to decrease the load on this server. One solution would I connect two remote probes to this main server containing in each of the probes 5,000 sensors? Remember that I need to have the view of all the sensors on the main server.

Hi there,

The main reason for the performance is most likely that

  • all sensors are on the local probe
  • your installation exceeds our recommendations by far (10.000 sensors)

Please check the following site that helps some users to increase the performance in rather big installations:

Best regards
