Filter Synthax for VMWARE HOST HARDWARE STATUS (SOAP) SENSOR

I wish to add Known warning/known errors in a VMWARE HOST HARDWARE STATUS (SOAP) SENSOR. I found info in the manual : h ttps:<core server>/help/vmware_host_hardware_status_soap_sensor.htm#exespecific

But the problem is that I have a string containing variable chars like : "System Board 1 BB +1.35 P1LV AB --- 0.7.1.228" In this string "0.7.1.228" change every minute then I cannot enter this complete string as exception...

I tried to use * ( star char) at the end of the string like this : "System Board 1 BB +1.35 P1LV AB --- *" BUT it doesn't seems to work.

Could you please help me ?

Dear LeBobo,

the warning and error filters only accept fixed strings. Wildcards are not supported. If an error string always changes, it cannot be filtered out by the sensor.
