monitoring the extension registration

I need to know the possibility of monitoring the extension registration, not just the active ping, previously we used NAGIOS as a tool for this monitoring, below the logic we used:

This command would check the server that we have, and at the time of the configuration of the sensor we would choose the check option;

Above was the up / down we viewed, with possibility to include comment etc ...

Hi there,

I am not entirely sure what the Nagios Sensor actually did or tried to monitor? Did it simply send Ping-Requests and checked the results? Could you further explain the actual script that lies behind what is configured in the first screenshot?
