User Story

As a PRTG Admin I would like to use a native Veeam Sensor to Monitor Backups, Backup Copies, Cloud Backups, Repository ,... of Veeam Backup Installations

Details of User Story

We would like to have native Sensor by PRTG that suits its needs perfect and will be maintained

Acceptance criteria

  • Monitor Backup Jobs for Errors and Warnings (Backup 2 Disk, Tape, Cloud Backup, Replication, EP Backups, ...)
  • Monitor Backup Repositories (Space left, ...)
  • Get current running Jobs (% left - GB processed, ...)

Status

  • Implemented: The Veeam Backup Job Status sensor is available as of PRTG 20.4.64.
  • Implemented: The Veeam Backup Job Status Advanced sensor is available as of PRTG 21.3.69.

The sensors are implemented as New and Beta. You can use the Veeam Backup Job Status Advanced Sensor sensor if you enable the Beta Sensors feature in the experimental features via > Setup > Monitoring >Experimental Features. The Veeam Backup Job Status Sensor is already in the product as New.
