Dell powervault mdi physical sensor failed to match column header

Votes:

I have a Dell powervault 3820i monitored by PRTG with the logical sensor without any problem. But when I try to add the mdi physical sensor, I receive the following error: Failed to match column headers.

I already have Dell storage software installed in probe server (where logical sensor works fine)

Thanks in advance

Hello there,

Is there possibly more than one drawer? The manual states "This sensor supports devices with one drawer of hard-drives only. Multiple drawers are not supported and prevent sensor creation."

Kind regards,

Erhard

Hi!

Yes, there is more than one drawer. Is there any workarround? Is in the roadmap solve this situation? Thanks!

Hi there,

Currently no plans about it, I'm afraid. We only had like a handful customers worldwide in the last years that ran into this issue plus the usage rate on this sensor is overall very low, so it never got a priority for development to do something about it.

Kind regards,

Erhard
