Can the Network Monitor database be moved to a different partition?

I need to re-host Network Monitor on a new system. Can the existing database be moved to a different file system than the application?

For instance, can the database of an existing instance residing on a "C:" drive be relocated to a host where the application files are installed on "C:," but the database will reside on "D:"? Can the existing database be imported to the new instance?

Thx
