Compare system time with actual time

I am looking to create a sensor to confirm our NTP server actually has the correct time. I have found a 3rd party sensor, but a bit weary of using.

Is there anything I can do to monitor this within PRTG? Creating a custom sensor perhaps?

Dear mparlby84,

PRTG only has a sensor to compare device time versus the probe's local time. If you want to compare the local time versus another NTP, please setup a computer using that other NTP and use the aforementioned sensor. It is still an indirect comparison as first the probe has to synchronize to your NTP, but it is the closest possible out of the box.

If you want to create a custom sensor, you can do it as long as your sensor adheres to the PRTG API.
