Sensor Vmware Hardware Host Status (SOAP) - Dell VXRail

Hi,

We just changed our ESX infrastructure servers to Dell VXrail solution with ESX servers vmware 6.7 U1 version. We have now a lot of warnings returned by Vmware Hardware Host Status (SOAP) PRTG sensor from devices that are tagued with unknown status (not configured) on vcenter. Dell support told us that these devices are not used because of the vxrail technology and that's why it's "normal" that the vcenter has unkonw/not configured status on these devices.

My question : is there a possibility to ignore these unknown devices from the PRTG sensor to avoid having these permanent warnings ?

Thanks in advance for your support. Best Regards

prtg sensor vmware

Dear salhorgnem,

please refer to the manual page of the sensor where you can find all information about the known warnings/errors settings in the sensor.

Here, you can define which warnings/errors should not be processed from the sensor.
