Hello Paessler Team.

there is the custom ssh sensor feature. Unfortunately this sensore require a script on the destination server. Is it possible in some way to do this kind of monitoring like with remote powershell in windows?

since PRTG is able to get CPU / Mem Information via SSH without a local Script on the monitored Server.

or is it really only possible to connect to a machine and execute a predefined script?

remote sensor ssh

Hello Michele,

Thank you very much for asking.

The SSH scripts must be stored on the targeted linux machine under /var/prtg/scripts, please see the sensor's remarks for further clarification.

Best regards,
Sebastian
