Can I create a new tag via the API

We want to create new tags to create new librarys using the new tags

api prtg tags

Hi there,

Editing tags via API will replace the existing ones, it's not possible to just add those. The following call will replace the current tags of an object:

*YourPRTGServer*/api/setobjectproperty.htm?id=*ObjectID*&name=tags&value=*tag1*,*tag2*
