Remote Probe with multiple networks

Votes:

Hi

I have a remote probe installation in a second, separate windows domain. This domain has two networks, separated by a firewall, and remote probe is installed in one of those. I can add machines from second network without any issues, but the WMI sensors don't work. The funny thing is: Paessler WMI test tool has no issues to connect from remote probe server to the machine in second network.

Port 23560 is open between PRTG server and remote probe and WMI ports are open between the probe and the other network. It should work but it does not - can somebody explain to me why?

Hi there,

Which exact error message do you receive for the sensors added in PRTG?

Kind regards,

I think that I found the issue - there are still some settings blocked by the firewall.
