Dear, I have 5980 snmp traffic sensors registered today, I would like to know if using libraries to create divisions I would have some performance impact on prtg.

Hi there,

Libraries do have a performance impact on the core part of PRTG. PRTG will scan the libraries once a minute to ensure that new objects will be added.

As you mentioned that you have approximately 6,000 sensors configured - Please be aware that every single library can just contain up to 1,000 objects for performance reasons, so you need to split the sensors to different libraries accordingly.
