Monitoring connection pool for a server

Votes:

0

Hi,

Is there a way to monitor the limit of maximum connection pools on a windows server?

Scenario: There is a limit for the maximum connection pools for a windows server. As soon as this limit is breached, the server goes into hung state.

We need some proactive monitoring through PRTG which will help us monitor this limit of maximum connection pool.

Any leads will be highly appreciated.

Hi there,

Please let me know in more detail which exact connection pool you want to monitor?

In order to be able to monitor the pool, it must have a WMI counter or performance counter available.

Hi Andreas,

We are basically trying to monitor the number of active users on a server. I found a work-around with the WMI Terminal Services sensor.
