IP V4 & IP V6 Traffic Separation

Hi there Can i crate 2 separate custom SNMP sensors for separately calculating IP V4 & IP V6 traffic on an interface in a Cisco device? If so, whould you please help me what OID should i use for each one? Thanks a lot

Hello Hossein,

As you asked for a particular OID, that's not possible. SNMP does not evaluate the content of the packets, just the throughput.

If you want to differentiate between the traffic types, I recommend to configure your device to forward the data to a PRTG Probe via a mirror port. You can than apply Filter Rules for Packet Sniffer Sensors, like

EtherType[IPV4]
