Geo Map default location not updating after changing address (v19.2)

We skipped v18 and went right from v17 to 19. We quickly discovered an issue with the version we went to and we are now on the very latest code (19.2.50.2889). While it appears there i a new cool feature whereby the geolocation seems to automatically be imported, likely from the IP Address of the ISP each Probe is connecting from, we often need to update the location to a more precise street address location.

Our Geo Maps seem to no longer update properly to these street addresses. Sometimes I can get the location change simply using the city and country (which is a syntax change from how we used to enter address information), but it seems to be inconsistent.

Is there a particular syntax we have to use for addresses in order to get the location to update properly?

Thanks, Todd

Hi Todd,

It's a bug in this version, it will be fixed with the next update. What could work is visiting https://wego.here.com, enter the desired address, you can also make it show longitude and latitude, copy those values and enter them as location instead of the address.

Kind regards,

Erhard
