In PRTG you can get some degree of insight if you have devices capable of reporting traffic statics with the standard flow protocols.
If you know on what ports your encrypted traffic passes thru, you can create filters in order to monitor these ports.

Please keep in mind that this will only go down as far as layer 4, so you will be able to discern the traffic based on it's port. But as soon as there's encrypted traffic (on port 443, which is fairly common) you won't be able to tell what sort of traffic it is. In most cases, proxies or firewalls can provide more detail since they decrypt/inspect the actual traffic for inspection.
