Limit API calls

Hello,

Is there a way to limit the amount of API calls a certain user can issue? I saw an earlier post (https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/20153-is-there-a-limit-number-of-request-per-seconds-for-prtg-api) but it was from 2011, is there a recent update on this?

Hi Ofek,

Thank you for the post!

It's not possible to limit the amount of possible API Calls for users. You can only limit the entire access of a user (to change the user to a "read only" user). In this case, the user is only possible to execute read API calls on the devices to which the user has access.

Unfortunately, there is no way to limit the number of API calls.
