ICON Software GmbH has developed PRTG sensors for the Simatic S7 series of SPSs from Siemens. All models of the S7-300, S7-400 and S7-1200 series are supported. No intervention on the PLC side is required here. By means of the SPS-Profiler they can be read out interactively and they can be assigned directly to the PRTG.
For this purpose, 2 free PRTG sensors, "SPS SysInfo" and "SPS SysCheck" are available free of charge and without obligation. With these two sensors, Basic Monitoring of the PLC systems via PRTG is already possible.

Alternatively, of course, the EvaluationPack, consisting of the free sensors and about 30 other proven sensors from practice for 30 days without obligation to be requested. The areas Basics, States, Values and System are interactively supported for PRTG by means of the SPS profiler.
