HTTP XML/REST Value for Sensor Status

Votes:

0

Hi PRTG Support,

I would like to ask regarding HTTP XML/REST Value, i was able to get the total number of device in a group using the API below

https://PRTGServer:port/api/table.xml?content=sensortree&ID=2021&login=XXXX&password=XXXX

Would it be possible if i could get the total number of a sensor status? for instance ping sensor status?

The HTTP XML/REST Value will show the total number of ping sensors that is currently up and total number of ping sensor that is current down.

Thanks.

Hi,

You find the filter for the status of sensors under "Setup | PRTG API | Live Data". In here you have to scroll down to the "Sorting and Advanced Filtering" section and look into the "filter_status" command.

Kind regards
