I'm using a Ticket notification system. Under what conditions are tickets issued in detail?

Hello Jonathan,

Than you for your post.

Are you referring to the Ticket system in PRTG?
If that is the case, then you can find more information about it in our manual.

Kind regards,

Thanks. The manual is helpful.

I have one more question.

Is the administrator account(prtgadmin) mandatory for all tickets?

Hello Jonathan,

Could you please explain what you mean with mandatory for all tickets?

Hi,

I mean that 'prtgadmin' account must get all ticket without notification template.

Does the ticket system always work?

Thanks for your support.

Hello Jonathan,

Thank you for your response.

The ToDo tickets (tickets created by PRTG to show important system information and inform you about specific system events) are always assigned to the default PRTG Administrators user group. You cannot change the user group to which PRTG assigns ToDo tickets and you cannot turn off ToDo tickets. As member of the PRTG Administrators user group, the PRTG System Administrator user is always notified when a ticket of this type is created.

Ticket created by users (User Tickets), and tickets created by notifications (Notification Tickets) can be assigned to a specific user or user group.
